Hallmark Security Ltd has been certified to COP 119, Labour Provision in the Security and Events Sector, by the British Assessment Bureau.

COP 119 is a code of practice for companies that supply or use subcontracted labour in regulated security and events work. It is an independent check that people brought onto a contract are licensed, screened, paid and classified properly, not just named on a rota.

The code covers verification and monitoring of SIA licences, security screening to BS 7858, the Working Time Regulations, National Minimum Wage, right to work, and a clear definition of employment status.

Hallmark has been an SIA Approved Contractor since 2009, the year the company was founded. COP 119 was added during a recent audit with the British Assessment Bureau, which also reassessed Hallmark against the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The company retained its ACS and ISO certifications and was awarded COP 119.
